On June 24, with the support of the Fujian Provincial Public Security Department, the Xiamen Public Security Bureau, and the Gongbei Customs Anti-smuggling Bureau, the Xiamen Customs Anti-smuggling Bureau dispatched 17 police forces to carry out the arrest and collection operations in Zhongshan and Zhuhai, Guangdong. Three major suspects outside the country were arrested for the “5·31” smuggling drug ketamine. The drug was seized 200,000 yuan on the spot to verify the smuggling drug ketamine 1.16 tons.

This case has been initially identified: in April and May of this year, cross-border smuggling drug gangs led by three principal offenders in the case organized drug ketamine sources in the territory and purchased a large number of artificial stone plates as a tool for collecting drugs. Ketamine is contained in the man-made stone plate hollowed out in the middle, and the solid surface plate is used as the name of the declaration, and it is smuggled out through the cargo channel.

It is understood that Xiamen Customs has continuously increased the investigation and crackdown on smuggling of drug activities. Since 2017, a total of 6 cases of smuggling of drugs have been filed, of which 3 cases have been listed as the first-level supervision cases of the Anti-smuggling Bureau of the General Administration of Customs, and the persons involved have been arrested. 19 people, verified the various types of smuggled drugs involved in the case of 2.03 tons, on-site seized more than 5 million yuan of drug money, a batch of drug-making equipment.
