While pondering a bathroom renovation, I came

So with the bathroom television concept no longer a frivolous one in my mind, I set out to investigate. First item was to confirm that yes, this is a waterproof TV (whew, I've watched enough CSI to understand the importance of this!) Many of the accompanying remote controls are waterproof (some of them even float!) The units can be built in flush with the wall, or can be mirror mounted into a bathroom mirror TV. Oooh! This suited my tastes perfectly as I was determined to make my new bathroom one that looked elegant and luxurious (both to make it reflect my personality as well as to further increase the value-added factor.)

Waterproof TV suppliers have really thought this through and include other cutting edge features like: a variety of inputs (PC, HDMI), optional wireless audio/video inputs and a screen that is heated to stop condensation and fogging up. By this point I was excited, even thrilled about the idea. To add further luxury there is also an optional 'mirror finish;' when the TV unit is shut off, it looks like a tasteful mirror. This trick not only adds beauty, but takes into consideration that there might be a few people that you would prefer not knowing your little 'LCD in bathroom' secret.

Well, this opened all kinds of possibilities for my bathroom renovation, and the hunt for bathroom TV suppliers was on! But first, I needed to decide what kind of television would suit my needs. Since LED technology is still unfolding (apparently these will end up being amazingly thin) they remain expensive, so not for me. A bit of research revealed that plasma TVs used to dominate the market because they were bigger and had a better picture, but the LCD's have now caught up. Plasma is better as far as contrast goes, for side viewing and for fast moving images (think car chases or sports) or if your dream television is very large. The key benefit to LCD is less power consumption, however, LCD is better for use as a waterproof TV as the heat from the LCD screen has a beneficial side effect: it makes the screen impervious to fogging! They seem to tie when it comes to longevity. But, as with any major purchase, due diligence is critical. The thought of being able to have another computer monitor (using LCD TV in bathroom) and to use less power were pretty appealing to me, so my choice was an LCD TV for bathroom use.

Next step was to check out suppliers of waterproof TV Australia to find my new waterproof LCD. And that led me to the most perfect bathroom LCD imaginable: small, sleek and mirrored: it has added a lot of enjoyment (and value) to my home. This little room has gone from serviceable to spectacular. The only problem with having a bathroom LCD is that I now spend a lot of time in that room! So if you are considering a makeover for your bathroom, or spa consider adding a waterproof LCD TV. You may find yourself cleaner, happier and more productive than ever!
