Q: We live in a townhouse with a small rear deck and plenty of sun.
We loved it all summer and relax as a quiet place-it was big enough for a few friends to have a barbecue.
Do you have any big thoughts on making space look more?
I found a good idea a few weeks ago when I peeped into my neighbor\'s garden.
He is a big rugby player, but there is obviously a good style in his heart . . . . . .
Mirrors have always been one of the best solutions to make small spaces look bigger.
My friend made a mirror image on the wall of the garden. (
You can use an external grade mirror glass or a plastic back mirror. )
Sitting in front of the mirror, the grid panel gives the impression that you are looking at more gardens through the grid.
Space doubled. Very clever!
The old ladder against the wall;
Flower boxes and Ivy-decorated grids and metal pots are stacked on the ladder.
This table is also a simple project.
A piece of plywood covered on a curved sheet of metal is placed on two wrought iron bases that have been painted red.
Bench is space
It is also very economical and suitable for the leisure nature of the garden.
Try Magic and enjoy the rest of the summer.
Q: We bought a 30-year-
Retired old apartment, planned to decorate it well but didn\'t want to spend our budget on removing the popcorn ceiling.
Any other choice?
In addition to the cathedral ceiling in the living room, the ceiling is very low.
I wish I could give you a magical answer, but I haven\'t found it yet.
Since the popcorn ceiling was blown up, it has been plaguing decorators and homeowners as a cheap way to cover up the ceiling, especially when cracks and defects need to be hidden.
Getting rid of popcorn is messy and you have to patch and greet in order to get a smooth paint surface.
Or apply wallpaper designed for the ceiling.
You can paint the popcorn and make it fresh.
Use a split foam roller to enter all corners and gaps.
If you decide to change the look, the most reasonable option is to apply ceiling tiles to popcorn.
Check to see if there are foam plastic or metal ceiling tiles in your home renovation store and on the Internet.
They have all kinds of patterns that are easy to draw.
You can also install plywood for the ceiling of the Cathedral and it is also easy to draw.
Q: We transformed the kitchen 15 years ago and still like our solid wood countertops and light wood cabinets.
But we want to add something fresh.
Will the glass tiles on the tailgate work with this countertop?
A: glass tiles have a lot of sizes and colors, and now you can design any pattern of your choice in the space you have.
Because your countertops and cabinets are all solid colors, there is a chance to create some interesting textures here. A multi-
The colorful glass brick combination of Mocha, coffee and cream tones will create a modern fresh focus and add luster to the room.
It\'s always a good idea that your tile shop will have samples you bring home for on-site testing.
