As the saying goes, 'New Year and New AtmosphereAs a qualified bathroom person, grasping the current situation and embracing changes is the first class after the start of the new year. Waste paper prices have risen, and many carton companies have raised their ex-factory prices by 5%-10%. Recently, waste paper prices have risen again. On February 28 alone, more than 30 paper companies raised their prices. Among them, East China rose by 30-130 yuan/ton; South China rose by 50-100 yuan/ton; northern China rose by 90-100 yuan/ton; western China rose by 50-100 yuan/ton. The rise in waste paper is mainly affected by two factors. One is that the 'Environmental Management Regulations on Imported Waste Paper' that came into effect on March 1 will impose stricter restrictions on imported waste paper processing and utilization enterprises. The market generally expects the supply of national waste in 2018. Continue to be tight; on the other hand, due to the generally low inventory of paper mills before the Spring Festival, the start of construction after the holiday has led to an increase in the demand for waste paper. Affected by this, packaging companies have raised the ex-factory price of cartons by 5%-10%. The packaging of sanitary products requires a large number of cartons, which will have an impact on the management of sanitary companies and e-commerce companies. Electronic toilets are proposed to be renamed as 'electric toilets'. Recently, the National Standardization Management Committee issued the draft of the national standard GB/T 23131 'Household and similar electric toilets' to solicit opinions from relevant units. The solicitation of opinions will continue until 2018 March 22. The preparation instructions pointed out that the commonly called 'smart toilet' and 'smart toilet' on the market cannot accurately and fully reflect the essence of the product, and electronic products pay attention to the control of electronic modules. The name 'electronic toilet' is likely to be misleading and confusing, so it is changed to the expression More accurate 'electric toilet'. In addition, the new regulations also improve the evaluation methods for items such as 'cleaning performanceThe content and method of labeling and materials and other indicators. The toilet is not allowed to be sold without a 'water efficiency label'. The 'Administrative Measures on Water Efficiency Labeling' that has a profound impact on the sanitary ware industry has been implemented on March 1. The 'Measures' stipulate that from now on, all products listed in the 'Product Catalogue of the People's Republic of China Implementing Water Efficiency Labeling' shall be marked with water efficiency labels on the obvious parts of the product or the smallest package of the product, and be explained in the product manual. For online transactions, sellers should display the corresponding water-efficiency logo in a prominent position on the main page of the product information display. Water saving is the focus of publicity for many sanitary products. Although some companies' products have less flushing volume, the flushing rate is not high. Users need to flush the water twice, which leads to more waste water. From now on, when consumers buy water products such as toilets, washing machines, water purifiers, etc., they can look for the 'water efficiency label' mark and purchase high-efficiency water-saving products. '2+26' cities implement special emission limits for air pollutants. According to the 'Announcement on the Implementation of Special Air Pollutant Emission Limits for Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Air Pollution Transmission Channel Cities' recently issued by the Ministry of Environmental Protection, from March 1, '2 +26' New construction projects in cities that accept environmental assessments will implement special emission limits for air pollutants. Those who fail to meet the deadline will be ordered to make corrections, limit production or stop production, and impose a fine. At the same time, the new regulations will postpone the implementation of special emission limits for air pollution to existing companies to October 1. Although there is still half a year, sanitary ware companies should also prepare early, because according to the current situation, the trend of environmental protection in 2018 has become an industry consensus.
