by:KingKonree     2021-05-20

In the first three quarters of 2015, according to relevant statistics, my country exported sanitary ceramic products (referring to the ceramic sinks, washbasins, washbasins, bathtubs, bidets, toilets, water tanks corresponding to the customs HS code: 6910 , Urinals and similar fixed sanitary equipment, etc.) was 2.943 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 29%. Figure 1 and Figure 2 respectively list the top 20 export countries and provinces.

Figure 1. In the first three quarters of 2015, China’s sanitary ceramics exports to the top 20 countries

Among them, the top ten exports are the United States, Singapore, and South Korea. , Mexico, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Spain, the United Kingdom, Malaysia, and Australia accounted for 18.34%, 8.10%, 4.59%, 4.01%, 3.78%, 3.69%, 3.45%, 3.38%, 3.29%, 2.54% of the total, respectively, Year-on-year increases were 55.33%, 49.09%, 51.26%, 326.38%, 47.07%, -35.02%, 66.76%, 84.38%, -11.44%, 55.40%.

According to the above data, the export growth of sanitary ceramics is the largest in Mexico, the Philippines and other countries. According to Mexico’s “Financier” report, as Mexico’s various reforms are improved, energy reforms attract more investment. The inflation rate is the lowest in Latin America, and Mexico’s economy is in good shape. The economic growth rate in 2015 will rise by 2.5%, and it will become the first country in Latin America whose economic growth is higher than in previous years. The World Bank said on October 5 that the Philippines’ 2015 economic growth is expected to be 5.8%, which is lower than last year’s level. However, it said that the Philippines is still the fastest growing economy in East Asia and the Pacific. Because the low inflation rate and the continuous increase in remittances kept the growth rate of domestic demand at a high level of 8.1%, the acceleration of government spending in the third quarter also contributed to economic growth. The “Belt and Road” is the top-level design of China’s foreign relations in the next ten years. The ASEAN region is China’s first hub for building the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road. On the whole, the Philippines, like other ASEAN countries, is the process of China’s construction of this hub. To fight for and unite in China.

Iran and the United Arab Emirates have experienced the most decline in exports. According to Iran’s Financial Tribune on November 3, preliminary data released by the Iranian National Statistics Center showed that the first half of 2015 (March 21) Since Iran’s economy has grown by 1% year-on-year, due to sanctions, sluggish consumer demand, and reduced loans affecting industry and service industries, Iran may fall into an economic recession this year. The UAE's annual import volume is 262 billion US dollars, and the volume of re-export trade ranks third in the world. It may be that the export of sanitary ceramics to the UAE has declined due to the re-export trade.

In the first three quarters of 2015, the top five provinces in the export of sanitary ceramics were Guangdong, Hebei, Fujian, Shandong, and Chongqing. The export value was US$208,850,800, US$32,838,900, and US$10,727,600 respectively. US$5.39.99 million and US$4.623 million, accounting for 70.96%, 11.16%, 3.64%, 1.83%, and 1.57% of the total, respectively, representing a year-on-year increase of 32.70%, 20.01%, 19.24%, 0.03% and 290.70%.

According to the above data, the main provinces for sanitary ceramics exports are Guangdong and Hebei provinces, accounting for the total 82.1%, mainly because enterprises in the export sanitary ceramics industry are mainly concentrated in Guangdong and Hebei. The fastest growth is Chongqing, which is expected to be because sanitary ware companies represented by Siwei and Duravit have invested part of the domestic market in the international market. Among them

Since is one of the enterprises with the largest export sales volume and strongest supporting capacity in China's sanitary ware industry, with an annual output of 2.2 million pieces of high- and mid-range sanitary ceramics, 600,000 sets of hardware faucets, and 50,000 sets of bathrooms. Cabinets, 30,000 bathtubs, and 20,000 showers. Chongqing Duravit Sanitary Ware Co., Ltd. has an annual output of 400,000, but in March this year, Germany Duravit started construction of Duravit (China) Ru0026D and production center in Luohuang Industrial Park, Jiangjin District. With a total investment of 600 million yuan, the project will build a production base with an annual production capacity of 1.5 million pieces.

According to relevant data, my country’s exports in the first three quarters of 2015 were 10.24 trillion yuan, a decrease of 1.8%. It is not difficult to see from the above data that the import and export volume has generally been on a downward trend, and my country’s sanitary ceramic export trade has slowed down. First, the recovery of the world economy has been slow, and global trade has continued to be sluggish. Second, the overall cost remains high, and the traditional competitive advantage is obviously weakened. This situation will become a long-term phenomenon in China's economy in the future, and it is a 'new normal'.

my country's sanitary ceramics industry is relatively concentrated, but when exporting, the requirements of various countries for sanitary ceramics are quite different. The first is the difference in sanitary ceramic product standards, and the second is the difference in the conformity assessment procedures or certifications for imports. Therefore, the relevant engineers of the Foshan Inspection and Quarantine Bureau Technology Center and the National Building and Sanitary Ceramics Testing Key Laboratory suggest that if you want to open up foreign markets, you must first understand Requirements and regulations of relevant countries.
