The difference between artificial marble and marble

Both can also be distinguished from geological concepts. Granite is a igneous rock, also called acid crystalline plutonic rock. It is the most widely distributed rock in igneous rock. It consists of feldspar, quartz and mica. The rock is hard and dense. Its composition is mainly silica, accounting for about 65%-75%. The so-called igneous rock is a rock formed by condensation and crystallization of underground magma or volcanic lava. The content of silica in igneous rocks, the nature of feldspar and its content determine the properties of stone. When the content of silica is more than 65%, it belongs to acidic rock. In this rock, when basic minerals such as feldspar, plagioclase and quartz form crystals, it is a material-like structure, which is called granite. Marble: Marble is a metamorphic rock formed by the high temperature and high pressure of the original rock in the earth's crust. The internal force of the earth's crust causes the original rock to undergo qualitative changes, that is, the structure, structure and mineral composition of the original rock change. The new rock formed by the qualitative change is called metamorphic rock. Marble is mainly composed of calcite, limestone, serpentine and dolomite. Its main component is calcium carbonate, accounting for more than 50%. Since marble generally contains impurities, and calcium carbonate is exposed to carbon dioxide, carbides, and moisture in the atmosphere, it is also easily weathered and eroded, and the surface quickly loses its luster. Marble is generally soft in nature, as opposed to granite. Because the surface of natural stone has pores, it is relatively poor in stain resistance, and it is generally treated on the surface of the processing plant. In interior decoration, marble countertops, window sills, indoor floors, etc. are suitable for use in marble. Granite is suitable for the threshold, counter tops and outdoor floors. The view of the counter counter is good to use dark granite. The natural stone that is currently on the market, some of which are artificially treated, these stones generally show their true appearance after half a year to one year. It is obvious that there are many large green flowers on the market, many of which are dyed, not the true primary colors. Another thing to note is the back mesh. There are two kinds of situations: 1 The stone itself is brittle and must be meshed, such as Spanish beige. 2 cut corners, the thickness of these stones is thinned, the strength is not enough, so the network is added. Most of the stones with deeper colors are of this reason. Artificial stone: artificial stone is made of unsaturated polyester resin as binder, combined with natural marble or inorganic powder such as calcite, dolomite, silica sand, glass powder, etc., as well as appropriate amount of flame retardant, color, etc. Made by porcelain casting, vibration compression, extrusion and other methods. Artificial stone is researched according to the problems in the actual use of natural stone. It has made great progress in moisture resistance, acid resistance, high temperature resistance and patchwork. Of course, artificial things naturally have the disadvantage of man-made. The artificial stone is generally lacking in naturalness and the texture is relatively fake. Therefore, it is often used in places with high practical requirements such as cabinets, and in some harsh environments, such as kitchens, restrooms, etc. ; the window sill, the ground and other places that emphasize the decoration, use less. Another factor that hinders the use of artificial stone is the human factor. Because the manufacturing process of artificial stone is very different, the performance and characteristics are not completely consistent, so the advantages mentioned above are not necessarily the performance of the artificial stone you purchased. The artificial stone imported from the market is currently relatively good in performance. For example, the imported marble allows sandpaper to be used to polish the scratches on the surface. The user's own treatment is no longer obvious, and many domestic artificial stones obviously cannot support this kind of talent flow, and the more polished it is, the worse. Hopefully it helped you! !
