B.C. family says their glass bathroom sink spontaneously \'exploded\'1

According to homeowner Bill Hartford, their tempered glass sink spontaneously broke into hundreds at the beginning of family day.
Hartford said he bought the green glassware from a hardware store two years ago.
The sink was installed in the bathroom at home and there was no problem until last week.
The sink suddenly exploded into pieces of glass, he said.

Literally, the pieces of glass go through the kitchen, through the hallway [and] are scattered in the bathroom, Hartford said.
