Recently, the official website of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine announced the state supervision and spot checks on the quality of the 4th batch of sanitary ware (washers, bathtubs), showers and other 45 products in 2016, involving daily use and textiles, electronic appliances, light industry 7 categories of products including products, construction and decoration materials, agricultural production materials, machinery and security, electrical engineering and materials. Sanitary wares (washers, bathtubs) spot-checked 90 batches of products produced by 90 companies in 13 provinces (cities). The detection rate of unqualified products was 7.8%. This spot check is the first national supervision spot check carried out on sanitary ware (washer, bathtub) products, focusing on the maximum allowable deformation, overflow function, load resistance, Barcol hardness, impact resistance, full water deformation, Seven items including drainage function were tested. The random inspection found that 7 batches of products were unqualified, of which 6 batches of ceramic lavatory products had unqualified overflow function items, and 1 batch of glass fiber reinforced plastic bathtub products had water-filled deformation items unqualified. This time, we randomly inspected 43 batches and 22 batches of products in the concentrated production areas of Guangdong Province and Henan Province, and the detection rates of unqualified products were 14% and 4.5%, respectively.

Sampling inspections of 90 batches of products produced by 90 companies in 7 provinces (cities) were conducted for shower heads. All the products were hand-held shower heads. The detection rate of unqualified products was 13.3%, a decrease of 2 percentage points from the previous supervision and random inspection results. Focus on the product's pipe thread accuracy, safety performance, rapid cold and heat resistance, corrosion resistance, sealing performance, mechanical strength, flow, overall tensile performance, temperature drop and other 10 items were tested.

After inspection, a total of 12 batches of products were found to be unqualified, of which 8 batches of product pipe thread accuracy items were unqualified, 7 batches of products were unqualified for anti-siphon performance items, and 2 batches of product sealing performance items were unqualified. Unqualified, 1 batch of product flow performance items are unqualified. This time, we randomly inspected 33 batches, 24 batches and 21 batches of products in the concentrated production areas of Guangdong, Fujian and Zhejiang. The detection rates of unqualified products were 12.1%, 12.5% u200bu200band 23.8%, respectively.
