Recently, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine announced the results of the 4th batch of national supervision and spot checks on the quality of lavatory and bathtub products in 2016. A total of spot checks were conducted in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Liaoning, Fujian, Jiangxi, Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Hunan and Guangdong. Of the 90 batches of lavatory and bathtub products produced by 90 enterprises in 13 provinces and municipalities including Chongqing, Chongqing and Sichuan, 7 batches of products did not meet the standards.
This spot check is based on the requirements of GB 6952-2005 'Sanitary CeramicsSeven items including flow function, load resistance, Bakcol hardness, impact resistance, full water deformation, and drainage function were tested.
Sampling inspection found that 7 batches of products did not meet the requirements of the standard, of which 6 batches of products were unqualified for overflow function items, including 1 batch of 2004 CODA pedestal basin from Henan Chengde Porcelain Co., Ltd (2016-07-20), a batch of 301B type Temax ceramic lavatory from Chaozhou Chaoan District Temax Ceramic Co., Ltd. (2016-07), and a batch of KT from Guangdong Jinsha Porcelain Co., Ltd. -92 type Kanis basin (2016-07-25), a batch of 8816 type washbasin (2016-07) from Chaozhou Kelin Porcelain Co., Ltd., Chaozhou Green Ceramics Industry Co., Ltd. 1 batch of 4688 type Meijiahao 4688 ceramic basin + 4688 ceramic column (2016-06-25), 1 batch of CP-401 Cassini basin (2016-06-24) from Guangdong Cassini Sanitary Ware Co., Ltd. In addition, a batch of MY-1703 Xintaihe Acrylic Empty Cylinders (2016-07-20) of Taihe Sanitary Ware Products Co., Ltd. in Nanhai District, Foshan City, was found to be unqualified for the water-filled deformation project.
This time, we randomly checked 43 batches and 22 batches of products in the concentrated production areas of Guangdong and Henan provinces, and the detection rates of unqualified products were 14% and 4.5%, respectively.
