Yangtze Sanitary Ware How to make the bathroom waterproof so as not to leak?

Yangtze Sanitary Ware How to make the bathroom waterproof so as not to leak? A particularly important process in bathroom decoration is the waterproofing of the bathroom. It is estimated that many friends are worried that the waterproofing of the bathroom is not done well, and the bathroom leaks after the renovation. So how can we ensure that the bathroom is waterproof and leak-proof? There are indeed a few issues that need to be paid attention to here. What are the bathroom waterproof materials? How to choose? The first is polyurethane waterproof coating. This waterproof coating is a curing type coating with high strength, high elongation, and good weather resistance. But because it has a certain smell, environmental protection is not particularly good. The second type should be SBS modified bitumen waterproof coating. SBS modified bitumen waterproof coating has good waterproof performance, good flexibility, high elongation, particularly convenient construction, and strong ability to adapt to the environment. But it also has a certain degree of pollution, that is, it has an odor, so it is rarely used in the family. The third type is polymer cement-based waterproof coating. Polymer cement-based waterproof coating may be the most widely used waterproof coating in the family. The salient features of polymer cement-based waterproof coatings are silly, breathable, impervious, flexible, weather-resistant, and easy to construct; and it has no odor and is the highest environmental protection. In terms of waterproof performance, these three properties are basically the same, and the construction is all painted and it is very convenient, so from this point of view, all three are suitable. Comprehensive discussion, we can actually find that the most suitable for waterproofing in the bathroom in the home improvement is the polymer cement-based waterproof coating. That is, our common polymer waterproof mortar is this kind of waterproof coating. How to construct the bathroom waterproofing? The first step should be the treatment of walls and floors. Before we do waterproofing, we must deal with the wall and the ground. The ground includes the leveling of the ground and the repair of the honeycomb pockmarked surface; the wall, including the picking of some protrusions, and the plugging of potholes. Simply put, simply level and close the walls and ground. The second step is to strengthen the waterproof treatment of some key parts. This mainly refers to the junction between the inner wall of our bathroom and the ground, that is, the corner; the root of the flue; the root of the pipe. These parts must be painted with waterproof paint in advance, at least three times, to ensure that you can see the obvious coating layer after painting. The third step is to apply a large area of u200bu200bwaterproof coating. This includes the painting of our floor waterproof coating, as well as the painting of the wall waterproof coating. The wall mainly refers to two parts. The first part is the shower area, which is brushed upwards by 2000mm; the second part is the wash basin area, which is brushed upwards by 1500mm. My personal suggestion to everyone is to apply the waterproof coating on a large area, at least three times or more. Similarly, it can be clearly seen that the thickness of the waterproof coating film is qualified. What are the specific requirements for the toilet water avoidance experiment? The closed water test of the bathroom, if it is said from the whole renovation process, it is necessary to do two closed water tests. The first closed-water test is after the waterproofing is completed, and the first closed-water test can be carried out when the waterproof material reaches the strength. The second closed-water experiment is about one week after the wall tiles and floor tiles in our bathroom are pasted, and the second closed-water experiment can be carried out. The closed-water experiment can be carried out as follows: Put a few centimeters of water on the bathroom floor, and then we will observe whether the floor slab under the bathroom is leaking, and whether there are signs of water leakage on the other side of the surrounding wall. Use this to judge whether there is water leakage. The requirement of closed water test is not less than 48 hours. I personally suggest that you should do it longer, and 72 hours is more secure. What should I do to test the water after the bathroom is tiled? The water test of the bathroom after the tiles are pasted should include two parts: the first part is the closed water test of the bathroom, which is also called the bathroom water test. The second part of the content should be the toilet water test test, to detect the plumbing of the toilet, and the water flow on the ground is also called the toilet water test. Therefore, the water test after the bathroom tiles are pasted should be divided into two parts to be tested separately. The functions of the two parts of detection are different, and the methods of detection are also different. The biggest point must be clearly distinguished.
